The HyperVelocity Race Track Indoor go-karting STEM Academy is a field trip-based curriculum developed by highly experienced STE students and educators. This Common COre State Standards (CCSS) aligned curriculum will give your 1st through 12th grade student not only a hands-on driving expereince, but also an entertaining way to enhance learning..
how it works
Starting with a 15 – 30-minutes educational presentation, students will participate and learn about multiple subject areas involved in racing and how they relate to each other depending on grade level. This includes:
- The History of go-karts and background knowledge
- The Science behind the speed, acceleration, and friction
- Newton's Law of Motion (first, second and third)

Momentum
- Mathematics (degrees, angles and turns)
- Reading/Language Arts (racing vocabulary, safety, and terminology)
Students will learn STEM concepts, sample problems, and be able to apply their knowledge on the track. Perfect for school field trips as well as educational trips for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Boys Clubs, Girls Clubs, YMCA, Junior Achievement, etc.
RULES OF FIELD TRIPS
- RESERVATION MUST BE MADE AT LEAST 7-DAYS BEFORE EVENT DAY WITH A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE.
- ALL FIELD TRIPS MUST BE PAID 3-DAYS BEFORE ARRIVAL TO SECURE YOUR TIME
- ALL RACERS MUST HAVE A SIGNED WAIVER, CLOSE TOE SHOES AND HEAD SOCKS (Head socks are included)
- FIELD TRIPS ARE ONLY AVAILABLES ON MONDAYS – FRIDAYS BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- FIELD TRIPS LAST FOR APPROXIMATELY 3-HOURS INCLUDIND ALL PLANNED ACTIVITIES
- MAX OF 50 – 60 KIDS PER FIELD TRIP
