HyperVelocity Race Track is seeking an Event Associate to join the team at our Houma location
- Starting at TBD per hour plus tips!
- Candidate must have at least 6 months experience working with corporate, birthday, or family events.
POSITION SUMMARY
An HyperVelocity Event Associate is responsible for anticipating guest needs, and exceeding guest service expectations all while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following HyperVelocity Race Track and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner.
- Set up and break down event spaces per event contract, management and floor diagram.
- Host entire event, supervise all activities and ensure guest are pleased with their visit.
- Maintains proper food and beverage temperature, and correct utensils are used.
- Pay attention to details, focuses on Guests, and understand event contracts.
- Observe, instruct and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
- Assists with Guest recovery and notifies manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
- Constant working knowledge of HyperVelocity brand, product and policies and procedures.
- Communicates clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
- Performs Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
- Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Work varying days, nights, holidays and weekends.

- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
